Myofascial Release

Myofascial release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle, sustained pressure into the myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore movement. The difference between massage and myofascial release is that massage involves movements, like effleurage, kneading and stroking, on muscles to relieve stress and tension; while myofascial release uses sustained pressure to stretch and lengthen the fascia.
